The month of September will always be a special one because of Kobe’s birthday. Vanessa Bryant’s countdown to Kobe’s birthday has begun because few days from now, she’ll be celebrating the love of her life on what would have been his 44th birthday.
Kobe was born on the 23rd of August and since his passing in 2021, the family he left behind (especially his wife Vanessa) continue to remember and celebrate it in the most special of ways.
In 2020, 7 months after the unfortunate helicopter crash that claimed his life and that of his daughter, Gianna, Vanessa paid tribute to Kobe on his birthday by sharing a heartfelt, message on what would have been his 42nd birthday.
“To my baby ~ Happy birthday. I love you and miss you more than I can ever explain. I wish you and Gigi were here to celebrate YOU! I wish I could make you your fav food or a birthday cake with my Gigi. I miss your big hugs, your kisses, your smile, your loud ass deep laugh.
“Thank you for loving me enough to last several lifetimes. In every lifetime I would choose YOU. Thank you for showing me what real love is. Thank YOU for everything. I know my Gigi is celebrating you like she always has on our special days.” she added
In 2021, she also honored Kobe by sharing a picture of them kissing and captioned it ‘Happy birthday, Papi. Te Amo por siempre. Amor Eterno. ❤️? 43.’.
On the 23rd of this month, Vanessa, her daughters, friends and fans will once again celebrate the life of an Icon who touched the lives of many both on and off the basketball court.
