Tom Brady shared his love for wife Gisele Bundchen after she rescued a turtle tangled in fishing nets. The supermodel took to social media to share a video of herself on the local beach where she discovered the female reptile on her back and unable to escape the trash.
“I immediately started to free her from the net that was strangling her, but even after we got her untied, she was too tired to make her way back to the ocean. I didn’t think twice, I just picked her up and carried her to the water,” Gisele captioned the video.
Her pals all praised her for the quick-thinking decision with the likes of Gigi Hadid, Gal Gadot, Heidi Klum and Lewis Hamilton all commenting.
Gisele however was also quick to remind fans that “there are so many other animals that unfortunately end up dying on nets like this”.
“Today I was reminded that we must become more aware of our ways as a species and help protect all animals, it’s our choice,” she wrote.
“I pray that we can all rise and remember that the opportunity to change begins with a single act.”
Tom and Gisele live in Tampa Bay where Tom plays football for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Tom and Gisele have been married for 12 years and the father-of-three recently acknowledged that Gisele, a former supermodel, put her career on hold for him to raise their children.
“I think my wife has, you know, held down the house for a long time now,” the 44-year-old said on his podcast Let’s Go, adding: “And I think there’s things that she wants to accomplish.”
“You know, she hasn’t worked as much in the last 10, 12 years just raising our family and kind of committing to living in Boston and then moving to Florida.”
