Is Tom Brady done with football after his over two-decades-long career? What is the take of his wife, Gisele Bündchen, on this matter? Will we see Brady again next season? All these questions were answered on Tom Brady’s “Let’s Go!” podcast.
The Los Angeles Rams have knocked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of the playoffs. This division-round loss has been tough for the Buccaneers. They were hoping for another Super Bowl win this season. But after the early end to the postseason, the focus once again shifts on Tom Brady’s retirement.
Gisele Bündchen on Tom Brady still playing football
Ever since Tom Brady has touched 40, people have started to predict his retirement. Fans are worried about how many games Tom has before he eventually hangs up his boots. These speculations have become a staple of every season-end for the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
In the recent installment on the Let’s Go! podcast, Brady talked about his wife and family. “My wife is my biggest supporter,” Brady said to his co-host Jim Gray. “It pains her to see me get hit out there. And she deserves what she needs from me as a husband, and my kids deserve what they need from me as a dad”.
Other than being a football player, Tom Brady is also a husband and father to three beautiful children. He wants to be there for his family whenever they need him. Bündchen even quit her career as a supermodel. She was on the top of the industry as well, but she chose her family above her career. When the time comes, Brady might do the same as well.
Terrific Tom on retirement
It seems like the 44-years-old Buccaneers quarterback still has a lot left in the tank. “Every year, I have to make sure I can commit to what the team really needs,” Tom adds. “The team doesn’t deserve any less than my best, and if I feel like I’m not committed to that or can’t play at a championship level, then I need to give someone else a chance to play.”
Knowing Tom Brady and his love for football, he will stop playing if he cannot perform at an elite level. Brady has gotten older, and he has a family. The quarterback cares about them a lot. Tom Brady is not certain about hanging up his boots just yet, but when the time feels right, he will make his departure from the game and focus on his family.
