NFC South leaders Tampa Bay Buccaneers last night pulled off a heist against the Indianapolis Colts. The Rob Gronkowski-led team was trailing 24-14 at halftime, but a spirited comeback led by Leonard Fournette & Co. meant that the Bucs won the match 38-31 at full time.
Last night saw the Bucs pull off a comeback victory over the Colts in what was a herculean effort. The Bucs played the first half sloppily, due to which they ended up trailing by 10 points come halftime. But in the second half, the team looked completely opposite to their former selves as they ended up winning the match 38-31 at full time.
Post-match, tight end Rob Gronkowski revealed it was Leonard Fournette who motivated the team both on and off the field. “It was excellent. It got everyone fired up,” Gronkowski said, via Jenna Laine of ESPN.com. “He went out there and he backed it up too, and it just shows just how much we respect Lenny. I felt like we were flat in the first half. The energy wasn’t there. The second half, we just went out there and played as a team — offensively, defensively — the defense was creating turnovers, we were scoring, Lenny was just running the ball amazing, and we just stuck together too. And to have a win on the road like that — that was a playoff-caliber win.”
Thanks to Leonard Fournette’s match-altering performances, Tampa Bay tight end Rob Gronkowski came up with a new name for the RB.
