Los Angeles Rams WR Odell Beckham Jr. is in for a big payday after his performances en route to their Super Bowl LVI victory. The wideout made valuable contributions for his team and will receive nearly $3 Million in performance-based incentives.
It provides a welcome distraction for OBJ away from the left ankle injury, he suffered during the big game. The LA fans will be happy with how he represented the organization when they needed him the most.
After signing with the team in November, OBJ backed himself and his abilities as he signed a contract with monetary incentives. The lucrative contract had a base salary of $750,000 and a $500,000 bonus.
But his performances during the Wild Card round and the Divisional Round wins earned him a cool $1.2 Million. With the confidence running high and money in the bag, OBJ never once stopped to admire his work.
.@obj bet on himself … and won.

For OBJ, winning has been what he wanted to achieve when steps on the football field. With a stacked Rams roster, OBJ recognized his impact on the offensive firepower of the team. In the NFC Championship Game, the Rams wideout opened up the field for WR Cooper Kupp to take over the game.
Odell Beckham Jr. earning respect and money
OBJ had a strong 2021 regular season in LA while recording 27 catches for 305 yards and five touchdowns in eight games. The performances also garnered the attention of the NFL, who called him up for PES tests throughout the season. In a career that has been riddled with injuries, OBJ proved to all his doubters he can still perform at an elite level.
The momentum was only carried by OBJ into the NFL playoffs. He recorded 21 receptions for 288 yards and two touchdowns in 4 games. If it wasn’t for his unfortunate injury, OBJ could have had a historic night in his 8-year NFL career. OBJ will be a lot more relieved while also hungry for more success in the coming seasons.
It was almost 8 years in the making, and OBJ was determined to make it count this time around. There is a difference in his approach, and greater focus. It aided him in earning money and the long-due respect his game deserved.
