The NFL power couple Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews are all set to tie knots and mark a new beginning. On Thursday, the couple landed in Hawaii for their wedding day. The relationship that was blooming for the past 9 years has now reached yet another milestone.
The Superbowl winning star’s brother Jackson Mahomes revealed the news to his followers and the NFL world. He is going to be the best man for the ceremony and seems super excited to host his brother’s special day.
Jackson posted a pic of him alongside the groom and captioned it “Best man type vibes”.
Patrick Mahomes love life
While Patrick and Brittany are on their way to becoming life partners officially, the love birds initially connected 9 years ago during their high school. In 2013, Matthews graduated high school and started playing soccer for the University of Texas. The following year, Mahomes made his way to another college situated 400 miles from Brittany and still managed to keep their bond afresh.
Mahomes’ fortune shot up in 2017 after he was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round. And Matthews was playing with a professional Soccer team in Iceland.
Very soon, the duo shifted to Kansas City and began their live-in relationship leading to an adorable marriage proposal in 2020

The year 2020 might have been depressing for the rest of the world, but Patrick had his best days of life. Just at the age of 24, the young quarterback led the Chiefs to win the Superbowl LIV title with a great margin. The same year in September, Mahomes proposed to his girl for marriage, to which she agreed, followed by a pregnancy announcement later the same month.
The following year, Mahomes and Matthews welcomed their baby girl ‘Sterling Skye.’ The duo was on the moon sharing their excitement of adorning the role of young parents.
