After dealing Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins, Patrick Mahomes and the offense must find an acceptable replacement. With some new faces on the offensive roster, it appears that the great quarterback has made his decision.
According to Around The NFL, Mahomes feels Mecole Hardman has a chance to replace Tyreek Hill. The Chiefs quarterback, on the other hand, was rather clear about how Hardman can accomplish it.
“I think Mecole has taken that step of kind of filling that spot that Tyreek did on those deep routes, and he’s kind of accepted that challenge,” Mahomes says.
Patrick Mahomes values Hardman’s presence on deep routes. It makes sense since Mecole Hardman is a real speedster who can blow the defenders off the field. Despite the fact that the fourth-year wide out has struggled during his time with the Chiefs, Mahomes sees one way he can contribute to this system.
