Kobe Bryant had a sneaker deal with Nike and released a number of iconic shoes over the years.
Now, after all these years, a new edition is set to release, that too ahead of a very special day for the Bryant family.
Over the course of his 20-year career, the Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant has had numerous sneakers with different colorways. However, this latest sneaker unveiled by Vanessa Bryant may have topped it all.
Vanessa unveiled the new “Gigi” Nike Kobe 4 ahead of Gigi’s birthday on May 1st. The image was uploaded by an Instagram page, Just Women Sports. Numerous names reacted to the latest addition to the sneaker line.
Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman’s daughter Trinity Rodman reposted it on her story with ‘holding back tears’ emoji. Even singer Monica Denise put up the post on her Instagram stories, which was later shared by Vanessa Bryant as well.
Denise captioned it, “A mother’s love personified…@VanessaBryant I’m so proud of you and all that you do to honor your beloved Gigi.”
Vanessa and Kobe Bryant’s oldest daughter, Natalia, made sure to highlight the latest sneakers on her IG stories as well. Natalia wrote, “So much time and so many details @vanessabryant you’re amazing.
”The latest “Gigi” Nike Kobe 4 was showcased in a black and white colorway. Apart from Kobe Bryant’s signature logo, the box also showcased a new logo that featured wings and the number 2, which was Gianna’s jersey number.
