Tom Brady is officially back in the National Football League. The 44-year-old, seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback announced on Twitter that he will be returning for his 23rd season.
These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG pic.twitter.com/U0yhRKVKVm

Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen, reacted to the decision on Instagram. “Here we go again! Let’s go lovvvey! Let’s go Bucs!,” Bündchen commented on the post.
Many had speculated that Bundchen was a major factor for Brady’s retirement. However, Brady’s father said on Sunday that his son retired due to “outside pressure.”
Tom Brady Sr. tells me his son felt “pressured by outside forces” to make earlier decision to walk away. Was looking forward to golf with his son but “excited” he’ll play again. Hear more from our conversation on #7News tonight. pic.twitter.com/dkrZtgLFlF

It remains to be seen if Gisele was part of those “outside forces,” but she appears to be on board for his decision to come out of retirement. Brady and the Buccaneers will go for another Super Bowl next year.
