Now that Aaron Rodgers is reportedly heading back to the Green Bay Packers for four more years, the team must decide what to do with Jordan Love. The Packers picked Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, angering Rodgers and presumably setting themselves up for life without him at the same time.
However, two years later, and it is clear that Love is not going to get an opportunity to be the guy in Green Bay. Most likely, the Packers are going to field trade calls for the former Utah State star, though they could opt to hold onto Love for another season if they feel he is quality depth in case Rodgers gets hurt.

The Packers should try to trade Jordan Love before the NFL Draft:
* Stock will only go down the less he plays
* Weak QB class means he has more value than post-draft

I’m actually curious what the asking price for Jordan Love would be.

And now Jordan Love’s reality in Green Bay shapes up a lot like Jimmy Garoppolo’s did in New England—the all-timer in front of him is simply going to run the clock out on the chance he has to start for the team that drafted him.

well one, excuse me

The Packers should keep Jordan Love, by the way. It’s been a few years since Aaron Rodgers got hurt, but let’s not act like it’s completely out of the realm of possibility going forward.

Hopefully this is the end of Aaron Rodgers telling sob stories about how he spent the night drinking tequila after the Packers drafted Jordan Love.

BTW, Packers might as well trade Jordan Love and get a fourth, fifth round pick for him. What a wasted draft pick.

Regardless of what they decide down the road, Love finds himself trending on Twitter this morning. After not playing as a rookie, Love appeared in six games in 2021. He made one start against the Kansas City Chiefs because Rodgers had to sit out after contracting COVID-19.
Love completed 19-of-34 passes for 190 yards, one touchdown and one interception in a loss to KC. For the year, he hit on 36-of-62 attempts for 411 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions.
