he big question of whether we’ll see Aaron Rodgers back next NFL season with the Green Bay Packers, or with another team in the league, is still far from being answered by the quarterback, but some longtime franchise insiders are pointing to bigger problems between player and team.
Andrew Brandt, a former Packers executive, has weighed in on the real reasons why Rodgers still won’t come to terms with Green Bay heading into the 2022 season.
“Listen, if Rodgers-GB issues were just about $$, this would be resolved by now. Packers have shown willingness to pay top-of-market and push out cap pain. All the rumors seem some subterfuge for the real reasons – whatever they are – for what is going on between the team and AR,” Brandt tweeted.

So far, Rodgers has been unwilling to make his decision known on whether he will extend his NFL career, either with the Packers or another team, or if he would rather embrace retirement.
During his last appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers would only say that he had not yet made a decision, but Green Bay is confident that MVP of the past two seasons will remain with the team to return to being a title contender.
