Less than a week ago, TMZ reported that Aaron Rodgers ad Shailene Woodley called off their engagement. On Monday night, the Packers quarterback expressed his appreciation for her. In a lengthy post on Instagram, Rodgers said that he’s grateful for the time he spent with Woodley.
“Shailene Woodley, thanks for letting me chase after you the first couple months after we met, and finally letting me catch up to you and be a part of your life,” Rodgers wrote. “Thanks for always having my back, for the incredible kindness you show me and everyone you meet, and for showing me what unconditional love looks like, I love you and am grateful for you.”

Around this time last year, Rodgers surprised the sports world by announcing that he was engaged to Woodley. While they haven’t commented much on their split, TMZ is reporting that Rodgers prioritized his football career. Considering he’s still chasing a second Super Bowl, this report doesn’t come off as a shock.
Rodgers has an important decision to make this offseason. He could stay with the Packers for one last playoff run, but it’s also possible that he could ask for a trade.
